Since 2014
I trained as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Nova Scotia Community College, graduating with honours, and have spent the years since chasing variety most engineers only read about — Northern bush operators, business jet contract crews, a stretch overseas, and now narrowbody airliners on the West Coast.
I started turning wrenches while fuelling aircraft at a small Cape Breton airport, then worked apprenticeships through Halifax, Summerside, and Springbank before landing in Manitoba, where I picked up my first Aircraft Certification Authority on the King Air 200. Since 2016 I've also run contract work through Three Miles Final Aeromotive — heavy and line maintenance for operators from BC to Manitoba, on everything from Cessna 150s to Challenger business jets.
Between 2023 and 2024 I served with the Defense Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's International Legion, providing field mechanic and combat logistics support — work that put a different kind of pressure-test on troubleshooting under constraint.
Today I'm with KF Aerospace in Vancouver, BC, holding Aircraft Certification Authority on the ATR-42/72 and Boeing 737 Classic/NG/MAX, and I take on independent contract work across Canada.
